While one wannabe robber may have attempted to nab a brand new cell phone in a road rage brawl, she got way more than she bargained for —  a whole lotta road rash.

It’s unclear what sparked the violent altercation, which went down on Friday night outside of River Valley Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota, yet whatever it was clearly that serious, leading a coatless woman to beat the crap out of an SUV driver in single-digit temperatures.

After several moments of fighting for their life — and their phone — the driver finally decided that enough was enough, putting his petal to the metal and speeding away. At first, the near-thief was able to cling to the car window, yet the SUV ultimately made a break for it, the woman tumbling to the pavement below.

While the woman ultimately appeared to be okay, standing up after a few seconds on the ground, we can only hope she learned that sometimes it's better to simply let go. After all, to paraphrase several Redditors, it is way too cold for this bulls—t.
